Description
British drama directed by Iain Softley which follows The Beatles' adventures during the summer of 1960 when they moved to Hamburg and played gigs in red light district clubs.
Bass guitarist Stuart Sutcliffe (Stephen Dorff), an artist as well as musician, begins to drift apart from the rest of the band after meeting and falling in love with Astrid Kirchnerr (Sheryl Lee), an avant-garde photographer.
As The Beatles become more popular, Sutcliffe has to choose between his love and his friends and their music.
The cast also includes Ian Hart, Gary Bakewell, Chris O'Neill and Scot Williams.
